Custom Pullip Doll Yukina

Description: A custom Pullip of Yukina from the anime Yuu Yuu Hakusho.

I noticed that the Miku Hatsune head I bought from YJA looked a bit like Yukina, so I made the stock for her on a whim and it ended up being my best custom... My sister stated what I already thought- that it would be a shame to undo the custom- so I'm leaving her in this form indefinitely.

Yukina's an oddity as shows I've watched go: I watched YYH for the first time about 10 years ago, and totally ignored her, but the character randomly started to grow on me later on... After about 9 years, I decided that she was, after all, somewhat likable- and since she wears wafuku (traditional Japanese clothing) she makes for a fun customization project. /coughican'tsewanythingelsewellcough/

Faceup: Hatsune Miku stock faceup

Clothes: Handmade by me; handmade kimono with edge-lining to mimic nagajuban and handmade obi + handmade hair ornament

Props: cute birds from the dollhouse section of Hobby Lobby; obitsu zori and tabi

Design Notes: I used a Hatsune Miku head as a basis for a Yukina custom on a whim, and it was the best custom I'd ever done (and my sis liked it) so I kept her as Yukina.
