I had a sinus infection, a scarf to design and make, a craft show from which to recover and two birthdays last weekend. To be honest, I just threw this together to stay in the competition, hoping to do more later.
I am glad that I didn't go with Victorian: even though the Victorian era is kind of my "thing," many people used Victorian themes for the contest so Misty "borrowing" Sula's groovy-and-vintage bedroom (and, since clothes!) really stands out. I wanted to print it'd some cardstock mini-records of Bread, The Dog Night, ABBA, and The Guys Who (note: best bands EVAR, guys) but I just didn't have the time. We spent all weekend running (and, in my case, trying to deal with bad health.) It's not the best photo, but I'm happy to have even made one for this round. I had to design it and do it in less than one hour. Whew.
Note: Misty-the-Dal is one groovy, cool cat. Or, at least, that's what she says. I don't think she knows what it means!
