Dal Milch Review

Some photos I took of Dal Milch. As you can see, her stock is unusually detailed and fine. Her overall look and the pearls + white lace remind me of old shoujo manga illustrations (with lots of lace and frills everywhere.)

Her stock was broken (the pearls, the shoe) when I got her, and I had to repair both...  Her feather accents seem to be real feathers.

Milch's faceup is dominated by a pearlized light-pink paint which, although it looks great in photos, doesn't look that hot in real-life (unlike her stock, which photographs badly, but looks GREAT in person.) That, combined with her being a a longtime presence on a local friend's wishlist and the fact that I'd prefer a Pere Noel as my "snow" doll, led me to rehome her.  I just couldn't get over the shiny-pearlized-pinkish faceup.  Also, her BRIGHT!blue eyes are too jarring on with the rest of her pale, undersaturated color scheme; she would have been better served with Pere Noel's or Arion's eyes.  But I do think that Milch is adorable- just, not for me.

Her wig is gorgeous, but it's the greasy younger sister of Eos' wig...  I didn't run into any real problems with it in the short time that I had her, though, and as Milch is (presumably) more of a display doll, I don't think that it would be too much of a problem.
